This ministry began in 2009 in a rental room within kakamega town. We first began as a family after being compelled by God to do so. It was like going to preach in the wilderness. So we just began by faith, having no name. we were later covered by another ministry that was registered by Government. So early in 2013 we began the process of registering our ministry by Government so as to be more effective in fulfilling the vision God gave us. So by September 13th 2013 VICTORIOUS GOLGOTHA MINISTRY was certified by the government as a legal ministry. Since we began we've made several progress in ministry by the Grace of God.
We've reached the most remote people in Kenya, the maasai people who were living in Kakamega area, with the good news of salvation and later baptized in water. We also reached many others in the area too.

We've also been doing mercy ministry like reaching the widows, and orphans, we invite them sometimes to share some meals with them and encourage them with the word of God.( attached photo - mercy ministry)

We also began a school as a way of propagating the gospel to all children, but main focus to less advantaged in the community so that they access proper education and have hope in life.

So in 2015 we decided to expand the school so that we could accommodate more children coming to receive ministry. The room you see below is being used to serve as a sanctuary and classrooms. The floor were cemented and also improvised swings to make the environment good for kids. By the end of 2015, we had a total of 125 kids and 7 teachers.

In 2016 we decided to put an extension to the first building so that one could act as a class and another room for classroom. More kids continued to join our mission school and received ministry. Some of the kids turned to youth and so we decided to have separate service with them in church. We dug some water hole and fenced the school and church compound for the safety of the kids. And victorious Golgotha ministry was also involved in mission fields in the neighboring villages, Uganda, and southern parts of Kenya. By the end of 2016 we had a total of 264 kids and 12 teachers. See pictures below.

In 2017 we added additional classroom so that kids could move from learning in the church to their own classroom. We also added a water storage tank to help harvest rain water. In 2018 we constructed more classrooms and added pit latrines for girls and female teachers and put electricity in all classrooms.
In 2019 due to struggle to access water for all the children, we managed to drill underground water where we found plenty of water to support the children and the community.

Since 2016 we have strengthen our teaching staff by adding more teachers volunteering to serve. And they have really helped our children professionally. We also took our school cook for medical check up and she has been approved to make food for our children.
We as a church are planning to make more development in following areas:
We believe that youth have many struggle and challenges, so they need to be guided according to the word of God. How can a young man keep his ways pure, by taking heed to the word of God. Our mission is to lead youth to become fully devoted followers of Christ that are active disciples impacting their community.
Lead churched and unchurched people to become full devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
To provide a safe place where fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ extend God's love and hope to the hurting and unchurched people through local, regional, national and international ministries.
